In the biography of every person, there is a wealth of life. We regret not having asked people in time and heard about their life treasures. They are all witnesses of their time, whose stories are not recorded in any history book but should be preserved.
In this three-part course, you will learn how to inquire about the memories and experiential knowledge of older people, preserve them in text and audio documents, and make them accessible to future generations.
Content: Planning and conducting interviews, biographical work, handling challenging conversation situations, tips for technical equipment, processing and publishing interviews.
Alongside the course, you will work on your own interview project.
The course is aimed at anyone who wants to interview their relatives, friends, and those entrusted to their care, as well as those who wish to professionally secure the knowledge of witnesses of their time.
