The Neusiedler See Cycling Marathon (NRM) takes place in the UNESCO World Heritage region and, with a distance of 125 km, is the traditional cycling highlight in eastern Austria. As an amateur cycling race, it has been captivating ambitious hobby and amateur cyclists from around the world for over three decades. For them, this cycling marathon feels like a professional race at the highest level.
With the prestigious UCI Gran Fondo World Series Qualifier status, participants have the opportunity to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships and compete against the best amateur cyclists in the world.
The NRM is thus a cycling experience not only for the riders but also for the approximately 2,000 spectators along the route.
BY THE WAY: In 2029, the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship will be held here at Lake Neusiedl for the first time!
