Pirate Ball - the Masquerade Ball 2026

The history of the Pirate Ball is a long one. Originally held as a noble "black-and-white" ball, it really took off as a masked ball starting in 1956.
One of the highlights of the evening is always the awarding of the fantastic masks and costumes of our guests, who find a wonderful stage at the Pirate Ball to present their creations in front of over 1,700 guests and live TV cameras, celebrating in a lively, joyful, and flamboyant carnival party.
For the winners in the categories of "Most Outlandish Individual Costume," "Most Creative Group," and "Largest Masked Group," there are great prizes to be won each year.
