Pikart, born in Aachen and active in Vienna for many years, is one of the defining voices of Austrian cabaret. Her language is precise, analytical, and often poetic – a style that brings her close to colleagues like Hazel Brugger or Lisa Eckhart, without copying their stage aesthetics. In "Halb Mensch," she addresses themes such as identity, self-empowerment, and societal pressure. She combines keen observation with subtle irony. ORF praises her "poetically sharpened text blocks," while the Süddeutsche Zeitung describes her work as having "precise linguistic wit" and "uncomfortable truths behind charming humor." For this program, Pikart received the Austrian Cabaret Prize 2024. The evening is curated by the discourse and potpourri group of OKH.
