"You cannot step into the same river twice," says Heraclitus; all being is becoming. One thinks of the Berlin airport, and realizes: the old Greek was right.

"All being is becoming" – this is the conclusion Urban Priol regularly arrives at when he is sitting at his press text just before the deadline.

His new program is like a river in constant change. The cabaret artist watches the steady flow of political events with eagle eyes, even though particularly the grand coalition politics of Germany in recent years resemble more a reservoir than a flowing body of water. Priol is always in tune with the times; he often mocks more quickly than his shadow can think, spontaneously and with current relevance. He rumbles, thunders, flashes, and like a purifying storm, he makes many things shine in a bright, cheerful light. Boundless, the master of parody plows through the night, distilling complex connections into clear points and transforming opaque, murky whirlpools into pure spring water. He joyfully dives into the torrents of daily madness, plunges into the abyss of the absurd, revels in mockery, and has just as much fun as his audience.
