Until God and Saint Peter return from their holiday, Vreni is to search for the meaning of life on Earth. On her journey, Vreni encounters a highly eccentric angelic woman, a power-hungry Greek healer, a quirky fortune teller, a psychologist in an esoteric frenzy, a narrow-minded conventional doctor, and many other wonderfully quirky characters from whom the lovingly naive hairdresser hopes to find final answers. Vreni can hardly believe it. Are all healers really money-hungry? Are priests especially obsessed with sex? Does God really exist, and is there life after death? Or is everyone just cooking with (holy) water? That Vreni eventually also meets Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gerda Rogers, Udo Jürgens, and Marcel Reich-Ranicki initially belongs to the realm of the supernatural… "Esoderrisch" is a bit like riding a roller coaster – colorful, exciting, and hilariously funny.
