Lipizzaner Cattle Drive

Nothing is as noble, nothing as graceful as the world-famous Lipizzaners, which have been bred at the Federal Stud Piber since 1920. Once a year, there is an opportunity to experience the Lipizzaners in a very special way and to witness a unique event, namely when the approximately 40 one- to three-year-old young stallions, who spend the summer months on the Stubalpe, make their way back home to Piber. Program details will follow! The descent of the Lipizzaner young stallions combines ancient traditions with festive celebrations and is a highlight in the event calendar of the Graz experience region.
