Summer Delight Tour - at Apis-Z Organic Demeter Beekeeping

APIS-Z is a Demeter-certified beekeeping company located in Königsbrunn in the Weinviertel region. It is operated by Wolfgang Schmidt. The passionate beekeeper produces not only organic honey with his 8 million worker bees but also many other honey products such as propolis, beeswax candles, and honey vinegar.

Wolfgang Schmidt organizes various courses on beekeeping and bees, as well as interesting events like communal honey extraction. Additionally, guests can witness the arrival of a new bee swarm.

Another fascinating topic is apitherapy, which involves the use of various bee products for the prevention and healing of diseases.

Guided Tours:
10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00
Tour of the beekeeping operation and a visit to the bees. Depending on the weather, a beehive will be opened. Guests will participate in communal honey extraction, taste honey, and sample bee products.

Additionally, at 11:00, 15:00, and 17:00, further tours will introduce the basic principles of permaculture and how they are implemented on the farm. A small buffet featuring processed farm products will be available for guests.
