Waldkirch Organ Delight Weeks "Culinary Jewels - 200 Years of Winter Coat" From October 1 to October 19, 2025

The Waldkirch organ chefs serve their "organ plates" under the motto "Culinary Jewels - 200 Years of Wintermantel." The chefs embark on a journey inspired by sparkling gemstones and jewelry, which hold significant local importance and tradition in Waldkirch alongside organ building. This year, the company Schmuck and Edelsteine Wintermantel celebrates its 200th anniversary. The Waldkirch organ chefs will once again wield their wooden spoons in October. During the 27th Organ Gourmet Weeks, they combine culture and craftsmanship, food and enjoyment, adding a gastronomic component to Waldkirch's organ building. It will be a noble affair as the Waldkirch organ chefs turn their attention to gemstones and jewelry, dedicating themselves to the over 225-year-old craft of organ building, which is another historical and artisanal branch of Waldkirch. The gemstone cutting industry is over 550 years old, while the business "Schmuck und Edelsteine Wintermantel" can look back on 200 years. Jewelry pieces represent the modern retail store, contrasting with the historical gemstone cutting workshop. This is all the reason for the chefs to elevate the Organ Gourmet Weeks into Gemstone Gourmet Weeks, creating fine, delicious, and imaginative dishes and menus. One can be curious about the treasures the nine organ chefs will conjure up on the plate, evoking sparkling eyes. A fine Buchholzer wine drop is recommended to round off the gourmet experience. And anyone who orders an organ or gemstone plate will receive a small, glittering surprise to take home as a thank you. The Organ Gourmet Weeks feature a supporting program with individual events. In the restaurants, when enjoying an organ plate, guests will receive not only the house's surprise gift but also have the chance to participate in a raffle. Among the prizes are tickets to Europa-Park (50 years!).
