Gaildorf Brewery Tour

Brewed according to the German Beer Purity Law, there were once nine brewery taverns in Gaildorf. The Häberlen Brewery has survived to this day. The historical tour offers a visit to the Häberlen Brewery and a city walk tracing the former brewery taverns. Brewed according to the German Beer Purity Law, it was important for each of the nine brewery taverns in the 18th century in Gaildorf to have good water. The first brewery of the Lords of Limpurg was located in the "Fruchtkasten" as early as 1537. The beer was already brewed according to the German Beer Purity Law at that time. Water from its own spring One of the most important ingredients, besides hops and malt, has always been good spring water. To this day, the water for Gaildorf beer is drawn from the Häberlen spring in the Osterbach and transported via a pipeline to the brewery. The city tour starts at the Häberlen Brewery.
