The potato tour at Hof Hagedorn in Haltern am See offers a comprehensive introduction to potato cultivation and processing. After a welcome with grain and lard bread, a tour of the farm's facilities and machinery takes place. This is followed by a bike ride of about 2 km to the potato field, where various cultivation and harvesting methods are explained. The tour concludes with a laid table at the farm, where the potato is the centerpiece. The tour provides in-depth knowledge about the entire production process of the potato and allows for a direct insight into agricultural practice.
