Mediterranean cuisine combines the culinary traditions of the Mediterranean regions and is characterized by the use of fewer, but high-quality ingredients. This course focuses on Italian cuisine while also incorporating typical dishes from other Mediterranean countries. Basic ingredients such as olive oil, fresh vegetables – including tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini – onions, garlic, herbs, pasta, fish, and lean meat form the foundation of the recipes. Participants will have the opportunity to prepare classic dishes and then taste them together in a communal setting.
