Healing plants and edible wild herbs

Discover the fascinating world of healing plants and edible wild herbs on a guided hike in Haltern am See. This excursion offers the opportunity to identify native herbs and medicinal plants along the way and learn about their diverse uses for health and enjoyment. Throughout the year, different plants sprout, with various parts such as buds, leaves, flowers, seeds, or roots being collected depending on the season. The ability to clearly recognize these plants during a hike provides a rewarding experience for people of all ages. During the hike, edible wild plants and healing herbs will be identified, allowing participants to experience their scent and taste, as well as feel their texture. Both well-known and new plants will be discovered, and their hidden properties will be explained. This experience allows for a new perspective on nature. The event will be led by nature park guide Carmen Berling from the Naturparkführer Hohe Mark e.V. The exact meeting point will be announced upon registration.
