Yoga dancing is an energizing, liberating movement experience that takes you deep into your body and consciousness – a dance ritual between grounding and letting go, vitalization and meditation. Guided and musically accompanied by Lisa Neunteufl & Ulf Jochen Lindemann aka [dunkelbunt], yoga dancing combines simple yoga elements with free movement, dance, and music. We breathe, stretch, shake, work up a sweat, and then return to stillness. The hour alternates between guided sequences and free phases, where you can follow your own movements. It is suitable for everyone who wants to mobilize their body and mind, feel more alive, and get moving without having to be "perfect" – even if you have little experience with yoga or dance.
After the intense and dynamic part, you lie down on the floor and give your body and mind the necessary time to integrate and reflect on the experiences of the dance. As you become calmer with each breath, Lisa Cantabile's gentle singing and [dunkelbunt]'s sensitive piano playing weave together into a comforting and healing sound tapestry. Wrapped in sound and vibration, you can sink into a state between wakefulness and sleep.
Musical-ritual concept: The dance progression is based on a precisely curated selection of music (live & DJ) by Ulf Lindemann aka [dunkelbunt]. He brings not only his many years of experience as a DJ and pianist but also his practice as an active dancer, performer, and instructor in the fields of dance therapy and self-experience. In 2025, he will found the Conscious Dance Institution Boom Chakra Laka and design various dance rituals with impulses from transformative dance therapy, ritual gestalt therapy, 5Rhythms, chakra, archetype, and resonance theory, yoga, and dynamic meditation.
What to bring: Clothing, blanket. Come in comfortable clothing that you feel good in and can move well! There are changing rooms on-site (with showers). Also, bring something warm to put on and change into, as well as a blanket or yoga mat for the final meditation/sound journey, so you stay warm after the sweat-inducing dance.
