Ryokan at Feuerkogel – Japanese Cuisine at 1,530 Meters

For two evenings, Japanese hospitality wafts over the Feuerkogel. The Kranabeth Hut transforms into an alpine ryokan – minimalist, warm, and open. Risa and Yumi, two chefs from Japan, bring their culinary homeland to the Salzkammergut. Not as a performance, but as a lived attitude.

A ryokan is more than just a guesthouse. It is a place of togetherness, where food, time, and community belong together. This very feeling is what Risa and Yumi translate into the alpine surroundings. With mindfulness, sensuality, and a fine sense for the moment.

What exactly happens remains intentionally open. What is certain is: there will be cooking, sharing, tasting, and celebrating. Culinary stations will emerge and disappear. Flavors meet mountain air, sake meets snow. Right on the ski slope, the Kranabeth Hut becomes part of the action – the mountain is not a backdrop, but a player. The evening will be accompanied by selected Japanese rituals and surprising moments, calm, playful, and in a natural flow.

This evening does not follow a classic narrative structure, but rather a feminine touch: intuitive, communal, and attentive. Risa and Yumi do not cook for an audience, but with people.
