In the so-called stiching process, a glowing hot iron is dipped into a well-chilled beer (about 6 to 7 °C). The heat causes the sugar in the beer to caramelize – resulting in a fine, sweetish flavor and a creamy foam rising up. The beer changes not only in temperature but also in aroma: it becomes softer, rounder, and takes on a very special note.
This traditional method is excellent as a festive conclusion after a beer tasting - it pairs perfectly with our craft beer! A true highlight for connoisseurs!
