Not for the faint of heart! On the site of today's university campus there is a round building in the shape of a Guglhupf. What sounds delicious at first quickly spoils the appetite of many. For the Narrenturm was one of the first institutions for the mentally ill and was used for this purpose until 1866. It houses 49,000 wet and dry preparations: Rickety skeletons, malformed embryos, sick organs in alcohol and numerous other preparations can be found in the collection. The collection is the largest of its kind in the world and guarantees you an exciting trip!
