Young poets stand on stage and try to convince a lay jury from the audience within a 6-minute time limit, using all (legal) means, that only they deserve the title "Winner of the first Stahlstadt Slam." Whether this happens in a funny, loud, quiet, lyrical, whimsical, or any other way is entirely up to the performers, leading to a night filled with maximum genre diversity.
